THATS RIGHT, ITS THAT TIME AGAIN. Every two years I'm notorious for exhibiting and producing. It seems like just yesterday that my 2006 Show and Book Launch happened. Its amazing to think that time is flying by so fast! BUT it's here 2008, and it is the year of PROSHKA, the artist. My big "THAT BLONDE CHICK, art exhibit" and the launch of my second book "ARTIST CONFESSIONS" is due. We will indeed keep you posted with dates!
APRIL 2008 ~ I've been off to a rocky start this year guys. It's almost hard to believe that we are into the fourth month of the new year already - how the hell is it possible that we are already FOUR months into the new year, into 2008. It seems like just yesterday we were in 2007. Strange how the time is just passing us by. This is also my brother in law’s and my primo’s birthday month, so you know what that means… CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!! Oh yeahhhh baby. SandieBlack is one of the baddest bitches i've come across in a long time, and by bad bitch I mean COOL, WICKED, ROCKIN and TALENTED chick!!! Her skills for the performing arts are just unmistakable and he calling is most def acting and comedy. Personally I think SNL should hire her, but in the meantime we do have BADTV.COM, an awesome website that featured Mizz Black and a few other very cool individuals. MARCH 2008 ~ Easter came Early.... I have never ever celebrated an Easter in March, in 28 years that I have lived Easter has always been in April. But i will say that I ma glad that it came early... As you all know, last Easter Sunday, April the 6th, my grandfather passed away, we were at St Georges Caye in our usual Caye House and Gramps departed this universe, SO, if Easter had fallen around the same time Im sure that i would have opted NOT to go to the Cayes with my family this year. Godbless ya Gramps Always! OK I have been very ANTI-WORK this year so far, been busy preparing for my upcoming ART SHOW and the launch of my second book, ARTIST CONFESSIONS, so haven’t been performing much or working events much, BUT who can refuse a good cause. I was asked to perform at a gala for the DOROTHIE MENZIES CHILD CARE CENTRE on the 15th. I did a works on anti-abortion and am yet to get a copy of the footage, as soon as I do, I shall post it. FEBURARY 2008 ~ Ok guys, it Feb, the second month of the New Year already!!! BELOW you can see clips from a Poetry Night that I was invited to attend and perform at in Belmopan, also the DVD of the eve is being sold by the TV Station that featured the event. You have to forgive me, because I was at a party on a farm in Cayo and went straight to the event, I also was not notified ahead of time about the cameras, SO, I know I look shabby, BUT its my work that counts.. hehe, right right.. After the performance, we drove back to Belize, got ready and hit da club for a nice night out on the town with friends. This was not the greatest month as someone in my family fell ill and had to be flown out of country to receive medical care, I’m not going to go into details because I’m sure they would like their privacy, but I will however say that it inspired me and motivated me to produce works at a time when I have been feeling very non-creative. Hopefully March will lift our spirits! Cheers

JANUARY 2008 – Ok so after a very stressful Christmas and new Years, when the boyfriend was here, FOR TWO WHOLE WEEKS, we realized that we are just NOT compatible. Every guy I date feels as if they can change me, well you know what I am getting really sick of men who want to change me, I AM ME.. And will not change to cater to or please some dude, because they feel they should be doted over day and night. It really stresses me out when they start to make demands as to how I have to be, that my friends is not gonna work with Miss Angela Gegg. Ya hearrrrrr!!!! Anyway, to make a long story short, I am officially BACK ON THE MARKET.. The boyfriend and I just were not meant for each other. Men fool themselves into thinking that I am the ONE, then want to change me, naaaaah man. NO THANKS!! Enjoy these 2 videos I made about THIS…

I have know Andy for many many years but really first came to know him when he was a gues on my then Radio Show, the G2 Show, at Positive Vibes Radio. He was introducing his Watina CD to his Belizean sisters and brothers. Andy was and always be an inspiration!
